I too have tetanus antitoxin in my fridge. My vet gave me the equine derived, 1500 units. I used it for a castration since my new goats had not been vaccinated. So throw it away? It says use all contents after first opening. Does first opening mean sticking the needle in the rubber seal and pulling the contents out? That’s it’s bad after that?
I guess they mean removing the metal cap, and yes piercing the seal. From what I read the antitoxin is a very sensitive chemical which starts reacting with air immediately...so I thought I shouldn't risk it. Hope the more experience people can help more.
