Well, I have one last doe to kid. I did not plan on her kidding this year, but one of the bucks had another idea in mind. I was going to lute her but I have people that put down deposits on goats and I needed at least one more baby to fill the order. SO here is my Hope. Here she is two days ago. (First two picture) You can see the bag but I know not real well because of all the hair, (we do not do birthing hair cuts) The second picture is her last night. She is OH twice as full. I felt her ligs, but they are still there and pretty firm. I have her due date around the 21st at 150 days.
Re: Hope's Kidding Thread I hope she doesn't make you wait longer than 150!! She's a pretty girl....looks like a Sundgau Alpine from the rear!
Re: Hope's Kidding Thread My pygmy Mischief is that color! She looked just like that and had twins. Good luck! Do you want boys or girls? Gina
Re: Hope's Kidding Thread Well the others were out grazing, I went looking for her she was in the barn moaning. I put her in her stall and she is not eating. Getting close. I forgot to check her ligs, (Grays Anatomy is on). I don't care, I have them sold. Does would be better they are worth more unless the boys go as bucks. The last two years she has had one buck and one dead under developed dead baby, so alive babies would just be wonderful
Re: Hope's Kidding Thread (Twin Dos so far) Went to bed but could not stop watching the camera. Saw a bubble. Went out and she had a baby with two pushes, then about minute and a half another one.
Re: Hope's Kidding Thread (Twin Dos so far) WAY TO GO Hope, just what your goat ma was hoping!!! I bet they're beautiful.
Re: Hope's Kidding Thread (Twin Dos so far) Here is the first little girl born. She looks like she put her front feet just barely in white paint. Here is doe number two. We call this a badger face. This is very sot after, and I always get lots of badger face babies.
Re: Hope's Kidding Thread (Twin Dos so far) Awww Congrats! They are adorable! And way to go on having does!
Thanks, they are so active it is not even funny. We put them outside and they are already jumping on everything. We were blessed with does this year that is for sure. 8 Does kidded, all had twins but one. Out of all the babies (15 Total) all were does but 3. I sold tow as wethers and one as a buck.
