How did you do with getting your kids sold this year?
    Any reservations/interest for next year?

I have two reservations for next year (one is a close friend)

I usually get contacted once I have goats on my website. I am still getting contacted for goats -- so I send them off to my friends who have goats for sale as I am all out.

My sales have all worked out just fine this year. Maybe a little bit slower but not a lot of difference from last year. I have one buck for sale right now, but he was involved in a trade which fell through so he's available now. Some interest, but he's still here. If he wasn't so closely related I'd use him but I just can't really justify it.

As for next season's babies. We have had some reservations coming in. Close to the same thing as last year I believe. So its good so far. We'll see how sales pan out.

  6. Well, did great last year. Then a had a girl from work need to sell some kids and does. Sold them all in two weeks to people all over the states. Finally, I have had quite a few interested in future kids. So all goes well we will be ok this year, I hope.

We did pretty good this year. Things are slowing down quite a bit and I am trying to sell a buck and bred doe, so we'll see how that goes.

We have four reservations so far for next year and quite a few people have been inquiring in our goats. We have a small herd, so four reservations is pretty good. :)
