Fiasco Farms website has info on how to make cheese and what not. Its way too complicated to try and explain here... I suggest you buy some books or find someone local to help...
I've never tried either one, but if you google 'Making Goats Milk Soap' and 'Making Goats Milk Cheese', you will have more information than you know what to do with.
You can't milk occasionally. Either you milk them or you don't. They will dry up if not milked on a regular basis.
I agree with Karen, you'll need to milk daily at least (I do twice a day).

here's some info on how to milk once a day http://fiascofarm.com/goats/milking.htm#onceaday

cheesemaking.com has good cheese making info

you can watch a lot of youtube videos on how to make soap. soap queen or soaping 101 are good ones to start with.

good luck and have fun!
Thanks guys are goats not like cows can't I just pull the baby off at night and milk her in the morning then put the baby back on?

Yes. You can do that. We don't pull kids at all and still milk once a day. But...you still need to do that daily if you want to milk longer. Just like a cow they only produce what is needed and if you only milk out a couple times a week they wilk quit producing.
Ok that's what I though just sounded like I couldn't do that but I know about them producing only what is needed. :)
Yes, you can do that. I thought you were talking about after the kids are gone.
For soap try The Soap Making forum. It is the best place to learn about making soap.
Thanks I'll try that and sorry I didn't know you were talking about after the kids are gone. :)
