How do you wash your glass milk jars?

    Besides washing them like dishes, do you use any special cleaners on your glass milk jars?

    I don't use glass but I would imagine that they can be sanitized with a weak bleach solution, I use plastic and after a wash in soapy bleach water I rinse them well and air dry them. I don't use hot water to rinse in but cold to lukewarm as the hot water would cause a "milkstone" buildup would set the milk and a cold would rinse it away...has something to do with the protein in it.

    I wash it just like I would anything else - dish soap and hot water

    soap n water with a bleach water rinse, i use it for all my dishes

    Same as all other dishes, soap and hot water or just stick it in the dishwasher. Weak bleach solution sounds like a good idea. . . .
