8 weeks is around the minimum...but no kid leaves my farm until 12 weeks.Different people have different opinions but at least 8 weeks I would say.

Please let her stay on dam for at least 3 mos. I just sold one but wont let her go to new home till the 4 mo mark. I like them to have as much milk as long as possible.

Can you put a deposit on her? If he won't hold her and keep her on mom, then go ahead and get her.
