Hi....I'm wondering how long I can keep a poop sample in the fridge for a fecal before I drop it off at my vet? I need to poop watch for 2 girls and of course I never see them go at the same time to get fresh samples. The vet isn't super close...so I'd like to do both at the same time if possible.

Thanks :D

I agree. A few days... The longer it sits the more degraded the sample can get.

I had to reach in and grab the poops from my does to get it done lol wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and a lot quicker then waiting for then to poop.

Be warned that if it sits for more that a few days, those worm eggs might start hatching and then you might be looking for a different thing than a typical egg. Never seen it myself, but heard that it can happen. It might be a lot harder/impossible to know what you are dealing with if you are looking at a hatched worm vs. the egg.
