How many can I keep?

I’m trying to determine how many Lamancha does I can keep in my space of 12x16 or fully expanded 12x24. There will be an attached pasture as well. However, they will end up being cooped up in the barn during the winter. I planned on 3 Does and 1 mini doe. But, lol there’s another Doe that I want to add….but for some reason 5 feels like it might be to much for this space? What do you all think?
I had on average 10-12 Nigerian does in a similar sized space so maybe 5 would be fine.

What about birthing time? Will you sell every kid? Can you expand further?

So there’s a 8x12 section that I can split in 2 for birthing and separating. I plan to breed 3 at a time with, hopefully, the mini kidding in fall so I can stager them more. I don’t plan on keeping any kids. I also would like to breed for April and May, so by then I can open up the barn and they can go outdoors more.
Still things don’t always go as planned…

Lol I planned on keeping 1 maybe 2 kids. I have 6 now and only 1 is leaving. The rest are staying. You may want to think about adding on just in case
