We have 10 goats. Nigerian and pygmy drawfs .
I was wondering how do we minimize hay waste?!
I want to free feed but am not sure how. I read and there are so many different options.
Any advice would be so helpful.

If they are not horned, this hay feeder works great. Hardly any fallout waste.

I built an extension on my barn recently and used a chainlink dog run type thing. I built a trough of sorts on the outside and they eat thru the chainlink. They barely waste a thing! Inside the barn I have a wooden feeder and man they waste a ton!! May eliminate the inside one or fabricate a small chainlink feeder in there. I can take pics tomorrow if you'd like to see what I mean

Sorry I'm so slow. It downpoured the day after and yesterday was crazy busy. But this is the goats side

This is the outside. I buy round bales and peel them off for the goats. This works well with almost no waste
