To put in with our new buckling. Everyone I know around here who has wethers is planning to eat them soon. And can you believe that for the first time EVER there is not a single wether on craigslist? Dh and I discussed how we really need to get the buckling off to the buck pen even without a wether because the girls are going to kid soon. Then I heard coyotes howling off in the distance and was so grateful we have our 2 pyr girls. And then I thought of an idea of what we could get to go into the buckpen for company with the buckling until our does kid and wean a wether for us. The kids named him (not surpisingly) Paws. Maybe next year we'll have puppies! I'm starting to think that goats and pyrs are like pringles.
Thank you guys! They are curled up together in the buck shelter sleeping together already (pup and buckling, not my daughter). :laugh: It looks like we're off to a good start.
