ok I know That 1 of my does may be prego's because I saw the buck cover her but my 2 doe Shady Lady I saw yesterday some sperm on her leg and a little dripping out of her yesterday and this morning I went out and the same thing again so my ? is I count yesterday 1-22-09 as the day she took or what I have it marked down but just want to make sure I am doing this right as it is really hot in June for their due dates.

goats will be in standing heat for 12-24 hours. Yes the buck can breed them as many times as she will stand for him in that period of time. As for due date -- start with the first breeding date.

Also after a breeding sometimes there will be a little drainage for a day or two or longer depending on how well he got her ;) so to see remnants a following day doesnt always mean a breeding happened.

Since the due date is 145-155 it is just good you have a 2 day window when you know she was bred.
