Ugh, my least favorite part of having goats is coming up with names...what a chore.

I need names for "B" lines, "S" lines, "P" lines, and "V" lines (its a hard one!) I am out of names and need some good suggestions! Its going to have Nutmeg's infront, S & V lines were bred to Crystal Victor buck, so I can't think of how to incorporate it in there. B & P lines were bred to Moose, and thats a trick and a half!!

    thanks!

I like themes too. But without themes you could just do whatever you wanted that starts with the letters, I would think.

But as far as some suggestions based on what you said...

for B and Moose, I think Bull would be cute for a boy, but that's just me...

P could be Priscilla or Prissy for a girl...

For a girl under Victor, your V could be Victoria - nicknamed Tory ....

S could be Success... for a girl or boy...

How many names do you need? And do you not want them to reflect the mama at all, just the daddy?

We use the letter to represent a single line. So one line of saanens I have are all B's, while another is all P's. That way you know whose dam is who without going for the herdbook. One line of munchies are V's while another are S's. It keeps the dams straight, especially on the saanens, they all look similar:) The lists are great!! Thank y'all so much!!

    Cool :)

You could still do themes :) You could start naming them after cities with the appropriate letters :) or Even just place names. Then you could just bring up a map, any map and go from there! :)
