I got a bunch of chickens between 2-3 wks ago. This one here is about 2 wks old. It’s a bantam, straight run. The feathers on its feet are amazing & I was wondering if anyone here had any idea of the breed(s) it may be. They didn’t have it labeled at TSC when we bought them. I have 5 but this one & one other are the only ones out of the 5 that have feathery feet. The other one is being a stink & not letting me take pic.

There are so many bantams now, but I’m going to say a good possibility you have a silkie. Can you try to get a better picture of its comb?

I will try to get a picture of the comb when I get back home. It’s not a big deal if I don’t know I’m just curious if anyone knows. I’ll get a picture later. ☺

Look like a bantam cochin or bantam brahma to me. Doesn't really look a silkie.

Here is a picture of the face/comb. I’m guessing they’re to young to tell much based off their combs but the 2 feathery footed fluffs are adorable none the less.

It has a single comb so I’m going to guess a splash Cochin. As it gets older it will be more obvious what it is
