I was in the mood to draw the other day and so tried drawing a couple of my goats with colored pencils. The scanner did a TERRIBLE job on them (these are about 10X7 drawings) so I took pictures. They still didn't turn out very well, but are o.k. What do you think? I kind of 'cheated' on them as I printed the goats picture out and then partially traced the photo... Not all of it, but it's not completely free hand. I combined several pictures to get the best pose. You know how goats always make themselves look bad in photos. Anyway, here are the drawings: Trillium my 3rd generation MiniNubian doeling from '08: Sapphire, my 4th gen MiniNubian doeling from this year ('08): (I couldn't get her head/eye to look right for anything!) I figured they were a fair start for my first time ever really drawing goats. Hopefully if I practice I can get better. Not sure if I feel like practicing, or if I'll have the time... but if I do I hope they will get better.
