I'm being so darned impatient waiting for kids and it's going to get me in trouble as I keep browsing websites and am like "well I'd like a doe kid from that breeding..." So far, I've been good and not put any reservations on anyone!! But I don't know how much longer my self-control will last! I'm waiting on my own goats to kid, which won't start until March!! And I'm also waiting on a buckling to be born...he's not even due until the end of May or beginning of June (can't remember which!). I sure hope my will power will hold out, otherwise I'll end up with 10 more does!!!

LOL...I hear ya!!! the only reason I'm buying a new buck this year is because a) I need a second buck! and b) because I've been saving money up for him!!! but I would like to add another doe at some point! But I probably should just wait and see what my girls give me first!!!!

thats how I do it -- waiting to see what I get.

I really honestly shouldnt even retain a kid this year. BUT nationals should be held in NJ in 2012 so I have to have does with my herd name on them!!! Its to important. So I may just do it. But Sarah is right means more money for feed and such. Yuck
