I have an injured meat goat, cut open her lip. Not sure on what. Been cleaning the area w peroxide and rinsing w saline. Looks to me like she needs a dose of antibiotics. Any suggestions on which one to use penicillin or the liquamycin.

I started her on atb. The rip is in the corner of her mouth either from a horn or fence. I did start iodine and it seems to look better w iodine not draining as much. Have her separated from other goats just in case. She is eating and drinking fine not losing any weight. Also checked her for a food impaction in that cheek area. I don't think she needs sutures.
