The anus on one of my does inverts when she coughs. It sticks out a couple inches but goes right back in afterwards. I haven't noticed this happen to any of my other goats so am a bit concerned. Should I be?

first I wonder why is she coughing?

    Is she constipated?

She's not constipated. She coughs because of the dust or when eating too fast. She had a persistent viral pneumonia twice as a kid. Took her to the vet the second time and she recovered completely. There could be some scarring but the vet says she's healthy as a horse...chunky monkey, shiny coat, full of it, no parasites. This butt thing is something new.

Nope. She's open. She was butting heads and running wild playing prior to the incident. She stopped to come over and do some tricks for peanuts, inhaled them, coughed and her rectum inverted.
