Hi All, I tried to post an intro before but it didn't go. So here goes. We live in Western New York on a small farm where we raise and sell Royal Palm Turkeys and chickens(mostly layers). This year we added three little Nigerian Dwarf goats to our barn and have fallen in love with them. This is our first experience with goats and we are reading and learning everything we can about them. We are looking forward to learning from experiened people like those on this board. Thanks for letting us join. We are really looking forward to getting to know you all. Gina and Tim
Gina and Tim welcome aboard! Where in WNY are you? I'm a ND breeder between Buffalo and Batavia. Would love to hear from you. http://www.angelfire.com/moon2/moonspinner
hi there!!! I love Nigerians, they are fast becoming one of the most popular breeds of goat. welcome to The Goat Spot
Thankyou for your warm welcome! Hey Moonspinner-we are practically neighbors. We are north of Batavia in Albion. I checked out your website(nice) and your gorgeous herd! Those bucks! wow. We have 3 little NDs right now. Jack and Jill will both be 1 yr. next spring. We don't know how old our Trixie is. She was pasture born and raised but is comming around. Jack is our handsome little buck and quite a character. None of our babies are registered, but we love them all the same. We bought them at a swap in Batavia last spring. Hindsight tells us that we are very lucky to have purchased healthy animals. I really like the Pygmies too. These guys are like Lays potato chips-can't have just one when the whole bag is much better. LOL Gina
Welcome to TGS!!! I raise myotonics as my main breed but I have a registered 50% Kiko and 2 boer crosses.
Gina and Tim welcome to the forum. I havent been on here long but these guys are so nice and very helpful.
Thank you all for your warm welcome! You are an awesome bunch and Tim and I are looking forward to getting to know you all. Gina
