Rocky for short, LOL! Sugar kidded today at 1:30 with a HUGE black and white buckling. She had a tough, tough labor...started early this morning. When she wasn't progressing, I finally went in and pulled him. She is tired, I kick myself because I think I waited a tish too long to go in after the kid...but she is recovering very well and is slurping down a warm beet pulp slurry like it's the best thing, EVER. Rocky is doing great. Our first brown eyed kid this time around, but cute as a button!
Thanks everyone! Stacey - nope, all of these are multiple fresheners. I somehow lucked out and purchased the only goats in GA that have singletons more than multiples. I expected twins from Sugar and Paula, but ah well! I'm just tickled when I have healthy babies, no matter how many. Sugar is doing great. The slurry I make is with sweetened beet pulp, so it's somewhat like giving the molasses water you guys talk about only with more substance.
a couple years ago that is all I was getting too. So last year everyone prayed for twins for me and I got Twins, Quads and Triplets :roll: SO now i just pray for a healthy kid! dont want mroe then 2 ever again!
