When I was offered this buck, he was a 10 day old baby whom had been rejected by his Dam. He was born back first so obviously that hurt. We have been lucky in the fact that our first ever goat was a bottle baby and hes still alive. I had read everything I could find and searched every goat board. I figured I was somewhat prepared and I was now in the goat business. He was raised in the house as DH's baby until he outgrew his 3H x 3W x 4L dog crate. It was time for him to go outside in to the big boy pen. He did not take the separation well but hes doing much better. He still follows us around like a puppy. I am still looking for a wether for him but he can see Pickles on the other side in her pen so he doesn't feel alone. Here are a few pictures from today. He's a full fledged 3 1/2 month old buck. Hes 2 1/2 ft tall and weighs almost 50 lbs, pretty good for a bottle baby with an inexperienced mama. The first picture is him as a 11 day old baby. I hope you enjoy looking at him as much as we love having him. This little guy is from ShowMeBoers lines Grand Sire Portfolio.

From looking at other "baby" boer pictures I was afraid he was a little small. Its good to know hes doing so well.He is a little steep rumped but I think he will outgrow that as he gets bigger.
