Here's my little poddy Dizzy, the 'fainting boer'. He's a week old today. FB boer. He's a funny little boy. He has the run of the backyard during the day, and he went and sat himself down at the gate to the buck paddock. Because he's a buck, of course!
Liz - he will be parting with his boys ... mainly because his mother is not a very high quality doe. He is definitely an improvement on her though. I will probably find a home as a pet for him. kelebek - the first few days of his life when I had him feeding off both his mum and my foster doe, he would faint numerous times while suckling. I think he was over enthusiastic and pushing his nose up against the udder, so he couldnt breathe. He has figured it out now ... but the lamb on my foster doe is too greedy, so she couldnt feed both, so I decided to poddy him.
