The does just got back from breeding :leap: but my wethers are going crazy!
They're butting the life out of eachother, making crazy noises at girls tails, pinning them to the wall, tongues out, trying to jump girls, ect... They normally do this very mildly as the girls cycle, but they're nuts right now!
I was under the impression the girls would come back after heat and the wethers wouldn't even notice they cycled.
It's like spring break Cancun in my barn :eek:hlala: !!!

I know the girls are done and evidence of studding is present...
    So, is this normal?
    Thanks,
    Caryn

Normal...your wethers can smell the buck on them, making them want to "claim" their girls.

God I hope it gets over soon... they still smell very bucky!
One doe is doing okay now but the other is getting tormented!
She looks skinny, tail down and is constantly running for dear life! I'm afraid she'll miscarry from stress.
I wormed and gave probios... we'll see. :sigh:

If they are being chased like that ...I recommend ....removing the wether(s)...that will put alot of stress on the Does and isn't good.....

And... I also agree with the others... :thumb:

That worked. I did some splitting up for a bit so they could see eachother. They're back together now and all seems well (for the moment).
    Thanks.
