I seem to remember somebody else posting a similar question, but I can't find it now. I just bought a bottle of Pen G from Jeffers and there is clearly some sort of solid mass in it. Is this normal? Also should it be stored in the fridge?

    Yes, in the fridge.
In the door is the safest place.

    It may need shaking up.
It does clump up if it has been sitting too long.
    How is the expiration date?

It’s a thick white suspension. Like Toth said, shake it up super well and keep refrigerated. When I was recently treating my doe, I had to make sure the needle didn’t get plugged after drawing it up (don’t wait too long to give it). You’ll also want a large gauge needle (like an 18 or bigger) because it’s so thick.

Normal. If you read the bottle, most tell you to let it warm to room temp before pulling a dose. Once it warms a bit you shake well and it should be smooth.

Okay good to know. The expiration is 2022 so all good there.

    What makes you say that?

    It won't freeze there.
Some refrigerators freeze things if it is pushed to the back of fridge, making it no good. So if it is in the door it can't be pushed back accidentally. ;)

Okay, thanks everybody. It's in the fridge door and I'll shake it really good if I ever need to use it.
