Is this zinc deficiency?

Hi, I’ve noticed this does eyes are weird the last week or so, and they aren’t getting better. Just hers… everyone else seems fine. She’s one of my biggest does (isn’t going to be a long term doe as she hasn’t kidded still) so she pretty much gets what she wants and shouldn’t be lacking in nutrition.
I did see her scratching her eye with a hoof last night… could it be a parasite issue?

Hard to see well. Is the skin around the eyes crusty?

I got a cpl closer up pics while doing chores tonight and handing out orange peels. I couldget a good pic while her head was down eating since her ear hung in the way. So I had to take them while she was reaching out to me for a peel 😂

looking at these ones, it almost looks like she could have gained weight to make a heavier brow and her eye lid is folding under it? Causing irritation and eye goop?
morning is that wishful thinking for that to be the case? 😅
I just don’t know why she would be deficient or have mites and everyone be ok…

Looks like watery eyes are causing skin irritation. I would try zinc and I would wash the eye and dry it and use neosporin on location. Might also need benedryl.

Ok, thank you for the suggestions. I’ll see what I can do with her tomorrow…
Watery eye might be caused by dirt getting in there? Or the eye lid folding under?

Eyes lids folding inward would cause irritation on the eye ball looking alot like pink eye. Her eyes look clear. Looks a bit like allergies. Vit A deficiency can cause watery eyes too I believe. I'll look into that tomorrow...its late lol

You can gently clean underneath the eyes with a damp cloth. If you think dirt got onto her eyes, I find it needs two people to try to flush it with saline. One holds her head, the other sprays or drops in the salt Water. Unless you have a head holder.
Good luck! I hope you figure out what causes it.

Thanks guys @happybleats and @MadHouse
I’ll see about enlisting help. She’s big and a bit ornery and not my favorite to deal with. I think I’ll do hoof trimming while she’s caught up too and get that out of the way. Lol
