itchy 6 mo old weather

    what can you use on a 6mo old weather who is very itchy?

    and what could be causeing it?

    itching can be a sign of lice.

    You treat lice with either DE, Seven Dust or with Permectrin II

    oh but if they are sucking lice (I think thats it) you can use a shot of Ivermectin. THere are two varieties of lice; sucking and biting

    part the hair along his back, and look for small yellow-oragne bugs, theyll be very small. these are lice, if you see a louse then either spray, dust and worm with ivomec

    Yep they have it covered. If you do not see any lice, look for dry skin. I have one doe that gets VERY dry skin because she is allergic to the sun.

    You can also try Vet RX along the topline, I've found it kills the lice. :)

  8. You can buy Synergize from Jeffers for next to nothing. I have also seen Tractor supply with it. A little goes a long way and it works. I have been on the same jug over two years. Hope that helps? :thumb:
