This is what I used for lung worms before and I was happy with it. my question is about its expiration date which is 9/2010 how seriously should I take that? :whatgoat: It still looks fine (not separated or anything) and I have a ton left. If the only problem was that it might be a bit less effective I would do it. It is soo hard when you only have two goats and use almost none of your bottle of meds.... :hair: anyway if anyone has any advice that would be great. Thanks, Miranda
dosage...... http://www.barnonemeatgoats.com/worms.html says 1/50 without specifying sq or oral. the bottle says 1/110lbs sq goat-link says 1/30 sq http://www.laurelhaven.net/id14.html says 1/50 no specification sq v. oral fiasco farm says 1/50 orally I am very confused. I gave my approx 200lb boys 2.6ml last year. should I just do that again? Thank you, Miranda
I would do what your vet suggested (I think you said that on another worker topic) Are you giving orally or injection?
Thanks, another question, Merry is the only one coughing (lung worms suspected) should I dose Pippin as well? that is what I did last time although I didn't really think about it at the time... what do you think? I'm adverse to putting chemicals in them if possible but is it better safe than sorry since they do share the same pasture etc? I found the dose that my vet reccomended which is 1/75 SQ I weighed them and merry is 215 lbs!!!!!!! he went of the weight chart in my book Thanks, Miranda
