Ivermectin Pour-On

I'm going to purchase ivermectin Pour-On this weekend. Pretty sure my little nightmares have mites. Saw them crawling around after my last post about balding.....I did research to determine what to use, but how do I use the drench? Is there a specific dosage? How long do I use it for?

Ivermectin Pour-On is for topical use only, (don't use it as a drench) by applying a thin stripe down the back. (Wither to tail head) If you saw creepy crawlies with your eyes, it is lice. Mites are microscopic in size and can't been seen unless under magnification.

The dosage is 1 cc per 20 lbs every 7 days for 3 doses, and then once every 30 days if needed to keep the creepy crawlies gone. Also, any bedding needs to removed and destroyed, the stalls/lounge areas sprayed down top to bottom with a permethrin based product and allowed to air dry before the goats can use the areas again, once a week also, until the lice/mites are gone.

I like cylemce for lice. It's safe and effective on pregnant does and young kids. Doee is 1 cc per 25 pounds in case you grab Cylence.
I definitely thought the drench and pour on methods were the same! My bad! 😂
