    How's this for a breeding?

    For the set up

    Guinen x Dexter = Franky (50% LaMancha)
    Franky × Dexter = Rover (75% LaMancha)

    Guinen × Zander = Mercedes (50% LaMancha)

    Break down

    Rover = 75% Dexter and 25% Guinen
    Mercedes = 50% Guinen and 50% Zander

    Bred together the kids would inherit

    75% Dexter ÷ 2 = 37.5%
    75% Guinen ÷ 2 = 37.5%
    50% Zander ÷ 2 = 25%

    Kids would be 62% LaMancha - 19% Alpine - 19% Nubian and combine 2 really really nice bucks on a single foundation doe.

    Does it work percentage wise? I ask because I inbreed rabbits for meat. And it seems that some things tend to be more inherited than others. Which can be really really good, or bad.

    I LOVE line/inbreeding for a variety of reasons.

    There would be no chance of long ears of course and the sire's dam influences the udder more than any other player. Which is good in this case, Dexter had a wonderful genetic udder lol.
