I really thought she was going to make it. I have been drenching her for 2 weeks and she hadnt went down hill, had been the same the whole time. She could still get up by herself and walk around. Still eating a little, not like the other 2 I have lost this year. I got home from work this afternoon and Butter had passed on to greener patures. She wasnt registered, but she was a bottle baby that I raised when my husband and I first started seeing each other (he was the one with the goats, I bet he wishes now that he never saw a goat. LOL) Butter was a SUPER mama, she was 50% boer 25% Kiko and 25% dairy. Never had any problems with her kids or kidding. She was always the one who called to you when you went out the door. She was the one, who no matter where they were in the pasture, when you called for them, she brought everyone to the barn. I am going to miss Butter. Rest in Peace my friend.
