How do you feed kelp to your goats, if you feed it? Is it mixed in with the minerals or seperate? Top dressed or in a seperate feeder?

I think I've tried just about all of those, except free-choice. I like top-dressing it on their grain or mixing it in with their minerals. Reminds me, I have to get some more. . . .

If I mix it in with the minerals in the feeder will it clump and how much do I add in parts?

I mix it with the minerals half and half. Seems to be fine. No it dosen't clump and it dosen't make the milk taste weird. :)

I think I will try it and see if it makes a difference. It won't hurt for the buckling to have it will it?
