I have a buckling who is almost 6wks old. I was petting him yesterday and noticed that he has a marble sized lump on one shoulder. Not the top near his back, but the face of the shoulder where it goes down to his leg. We looked at it and there was no change to the skin color in that area, and no evidence that we could see of a bite of any kind. Any idea what it might be?
Just what Toth and Stacey said  My kids get there CD/T in that area as it's the easiest spot to get to when I'm holding AND injecting...they usually do get a lump..at least all of my kids have.
See, I knew they could get a lump from that shot, but I didn't think that could be it since I haven't given him one yet. Then after reading your replies, I realized... duh! He got one when he was disbudded, I just didn't give it so I didn't remember right away, and I'm pretty sure it was on the shoulder . Thanks everyone!
that is a relief....now that you know what it is.....
