Prior to today we had one doe kid three weeks ago and another kid on Sunday. Both had twins, one of each. We lost the doe kid from the Sunday kidding. Today Ken noticed two does dripping mucus-#14 and Wooly. He was off work today and was right there when #14 kidded-twin bucks. They were a bit weak but he dried them off, got them into a stall with a heat lamp, held them to nurse and gave them nutridrench. So far they are doing ok. He also put Wooly doe up in a stall. I'm personally hoping she holds out for another few weeks. She was supposed to be bred to an RRD Hammertime son but one of the young bucks may have got her. Ken went home for a bit and came back to the farm around 8. The #4 doe had kidded with twins, a buck and a doe. Both are huge and healthy. They are now put up in a stall as well. So far the live total is 7 kids: 2 does and 5 bucks. We still have 11 does still to kid.
