Mine have gone anywhere on the clock!

Last kidding season though I had 2 does go late at night/early morning an 1 in late evening and a FF go at 7 am, previous kiddings have been mainly in the late afternoon to early evening.

Most of mine were between noon and 5pm. Xcell was the exception at some time around 3am.

I read on one site that said it was very often in the afternoon. I was just wondering how that fit in with other's experiences. I am hoping I am here..

Depends on the season. When we had winter kiddings, most were born in the afternoon, the warmest part of the day.
In warm seasons the kids are born during the cooler parts of the day, early or late day, or at night.

My girls' kidding times are usually pretty spread out. Most seem to be in late morning, but we still get a fair amount of afternoon and midnight kiddings.

Consulting the goat diary since I just don't remember the times anymore. Anyway, these are 2008 kiddings here.

Contredanse had twins doe/buck at 2:30pm.
Daisy had a single doe at 5:30am.
Potsie had quads 3 does & 1 buck at 8:15am.
Civil had a single buck at the wee hour of 12:30am.
Minuet had triplets 2 does & 1 buck at 6pm.
Blossom had triplets 2 does & 1 buck just after midnight.
Hera had a single doe just after midnight.
Faith had quads 1 doe & 3 bucks at noon.
Nottie had twin bucks at 11pm.
Fuchsia had triplets 1 doe & 2 bucks at noon.
Petite had a single doeling at 2am.
Anna had twin bucks at 10pm.
Plenty had twin does at 1:30am.
Blessing had triplets 2 does & 1 buck at 2:30pm.
Sarah had twin does at 1:30pm.
Civil had a single buck at 9am.
Barbie had a single doe at 2:30pm.

So that makes 3 morning kiddings: Daisy, Potsie & Civil.
6 afternoon kiddings: Contredanse, Faith, Fuchsia, Blessing, Sarah & Barbie.
5 nighttime kiddings: Civil, Blossom, Hera, Petite & Plenty.
And 3 evening kiddings: Minuet, Nottie & Anna.

So afternoon and nighttime was tied here.
