Laboured breathing

This has been a crappy goat month!

First I thought I had a CL scare but the lumps have gone down in size and I think it’s from vaccinations and worming. But today my doe (7) was breathing weird. Tonight it seems worse. Like almost darth Vader like. Wheezy and raspy and like her airway is tight.

Temp is 103.1

Fecals got sent just 2 days ago waiting on that.

Wormed 2 times with injectable ivermectin for mites and lice.

I don’t know what’s up!

She’s eating hay and grain but you can tel she’s having a hard time breathing!

I have no clue what to do!

Try giving Benadryl maybe? Can you get a vet to examine her? Do you see anything in her nostrils? Definitely keep an eye on her temp.
Is it hot where you are?

I can’t see anything. Temp is 102 today. Still having trouble breathing.

I’m worried about bringing my vet as she really knows very little about goats and she admits it

Not at all. Easy breezy perfect summer
Any snot? If so .what color? Is she eating well, pooping berries, brite eye and alert, not bloated other wise well?
Vet rx is a good product to help non infectious respiratory issues. You can get goat specific or chicken..which is cheaper and same stuff.
If you have access to quality essential oils..eucalyptus or rosemary can be used.

She always has a bit of. Cough. No snot currently.

Would the oils be just inhaled? Like put my diffuser out there? Or ingested?
I would add a drop to some carrier oil and rub under her nose to breath in. Can apply several times a day. B complex shot won't hurt either.
Has she ever been checked for lung worm?

Ok thanks.

We just did her fecals Tuesday. She has GIN 3+ and coccidia 2+

Does a float cover lung worm?

The YouTube video I checked for lung worm didn’t sound like this. I’ll attach a video and you can hear it. It’s like somethings stuck and blocking the air. I felt around her neck and felt no obstruction. Looked in throat and nose. Nothing. I’m waiting to hear back from vet.

it won’t let me add a video. Only photo.
Cough is dry or wet sounding? Sometimes it's allergies. Giving allergy meds can help, like Benadryl.

I gave penicillin and she’s gotten better. Vet had no ideas :(
