I have a Saanen/Nubian Doe, she is 1.5 years old she is my first born to my farm kid and I think she is pregnant. She was in with my girls till the start of everyone else starting to give birth in January and thinking it was safe... Doh..... I moved her in with the boys. She was moved back into general population about the start of April and now she is acting strange, her utters seem to have dropped, her tummy is bigger and she really does not want to be touched on her tummy. So if she is then at the latest we are looking at August or anytime soon...
My question would be I assumed the September to January breeding season was like IT! Except for my Nigerians who seem to be in hear all the time, alternating months and driving my bucks crazy!!! I guess what I would like to know is if there is a "normal" season and this was just a fluke or did I just learn a really good lesson?
Thanks for the information!!
