Lice on new 2 week old bottle baby

633 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  toth boer goats
Just brought home our 2 week old fainter buckling. Before I left the breeders I noticed he has lice. We treated with Python dust immediately. My herd I’m bringing him home to is lice free. Do I need to keep him away from everyone else, or should I just treat them all and let them get acquainted? I don’t want to bring it to the rest of my goats, but I don’t want the new baby to be lonely either. What are your suggestions?

If it is warm enough, you could give him a bath.

Would you use some sort of lice shampoo?
You can but any shampoo should do it.
