:leap: licorice is a ff and didn't look very big so i thot she'd only have 1 kid. but she had twins! :kidred: :kidblue: at first she seemed a little unsure about what to do with them but now she's nursing them and looking after them like a pro! i'm so pleased with her!
thank-you! they are pygmy goats. i love the sharp contrast of the black with white markings. and no, Liz, i'm sure i didn't kidnap them! i helped bring them into the world! yesterday licorice's udder was filling and i was sure she would go overnight but she kindly waited till mid-morning. i was secretly hoping she might have twins because her udder was quite huge for only one kid and i had seen so much movement (even over the rumen) in the recent weeks that i thot maybe that indicates more than 1 kid. but she really didn't look big so i was still surprised when she lay down to push out the 2nd kid. they're doing wonderful so far! :thumb:
