Hello,
Our 8 year old Nubian has recently started limping a bit on her front right leg and walking around very stiffly. We trimmed her hooves (no signs of hoof rot) and it hasn't gotten better. There is no swelling in her legs from what I could feel/see. She is eating fine and can walk around well enough so we think it may just be her joints acting up in the cold weather, but I thought I might ask if there is something else it could be.
Thank you!

Hello again,
After trimming her hooves our Nubian was doing a lot better, but has started walking very stiffly once again. It seems to correlate with the cold front blowing through. Has anyone else had goats walk stiffly during the cold?

Since she is an older goat I would suspect joint problems. I have a 9 yr old Boer doe that is walking very stiffly right now as well. I’m chalking it down to the cold/snow.
