Ok after Jack not breeding forever I'm paranoid about Jasper so I've been trying to swipe samples from the does backsides lol. But I think I found what I was looking for today on Esther not a wonderful sample but I believe I see some little swimmers in there or is my mind playing tricks?

Neat!!

I think I see them too but I have never looked at sperm under a microscope before!
Me either but I thought I'd give it shot they seem to look like the pictures I found. The videos have them moving but I think these guys had died off by the time I got it lol

Not
To get a good sperm evaluation, the sperm needs to be spun to check for motility and count. You can have your vet come out for collection - then they will take it back to evaluate.
Not looking for a count or checking for motility just checking to see if he's bred the does. He doesn't breed when I'm watching :)

Looking at sperm really won't tell you much - especially if he has low motility.
I don't suspect he has low motility or anything wrong.I just wasn't sure if he was actually mounting the does after chasing them around. Seeing some sperm in the discharge tells me that. This is his first time breeding does as he's only been here since last week and his breeder didn't use him. :)

Thanks I hope for now he just looks at Jasper like he's crazy then runs to me for attention lol. I've got my fingers crossed that the 1 doe he bred has something nice
