My Mini-oerhasli has been in labor for 8 hours now. This is her 3rd kidding but my first one with both her and any other goat. She expelled mucus plug this morning. Keeps having contractions, labored breathing and some pushing. But no further progress. Should I be concerned?

Yes, you should be concerned! I would glove up and check her. If you're not comfortable with that, call the vet.

Well we just got home (a little after midnight) and mom and her two little bucklings all settled in. We ended up rushing to our vet. Thanks for everyone's caring words and comments. It saved our goat!
