Not sure what happened but we lost one of our ewes this morning. Not sure if she got bumped- but this morning when my husband opened the barn she was gone. The only symptom she had was that she seemed of her feed last night- thought she might be in heat or something- no other sym. No changes in feed. Katyadid was are only polled and strawberry in color. She was my favorite! SHe will be missed!
Thank You. It is frustrating and now we are worried that something might be going on- don't want to loose anymore. Can't figure it out.
So sorry for your loss. Just keep an eye on the others, if you see any changes be sure to have a vet come out if ya can't figure out what's going on. These animals always keep us on our toes.
Are you able to get an autopsy? I sure hope it wasn't anything serious & I know the vets in your area aren't very helpful with your sheep & goats. Keep us up-dated
