A friend's young buck escaped from his enclosure last week. They found him in a patch of gone to seed lupines which he had clearly been eating. Very quickly he showed signs of poisoning and within 14 hrs died of what seemed to be respiratory failure. Had anyone else had experience with goats eating lupines? I'm wondering if all parts of the plant are toxic, or just the seeds?

I would give him some activated charcoal if she is afraid of poisoning. It saved my horses from Nightshade poisoning.
