maple- she kidded!! YAY!!!

i just got a pic of her top view... i am thinking two? i hope she holds out for me, dh is out of town until the night of the eighth, and she's due the 1oth, and my big pregnant butt sure could use his help. her ligs are still good and her udder isn't full yet, so there's hope yet!

well this evening i will have to get a pic to show you how deep she is. i think two, but three would be lovely. i really really want a :girl: this time around!!!

here's a couple of pics this morning... her udder is much fuller than it was and i think she might be looking a little posty. i was trying to rush to work so i didn't get a chance to feel her ligs... oh well. but what i really noticed was that instead of her usual, push you over hurry up and feed me now mom, self, she just kinda stood there and let me do what i needed and then politely starting nibbling at her grain, instead of gobbling it down in a heartbeat like she usually does.

yay! maple gifted me with twins on mother's day (her day 150), a :boy: and a :girl: ! i was so happy for my doeling, she's the black one. i was mad she didn't let us watch, she was having tiny contractions, but didn't seem uncomfortable, was just chewing her cud and acting normal, so we went in for half an hour thinking we would go back and check on her, but we went out and she had them both on the ground!! argh! but i am so happy for my two babies! meet ivy and aspen...
