Hey everybody!! So I know that Marquis is a cocci med that is a vet RX - but I found some Marquis Horse Paste and I’m wondering if this can be used on goats just as other horse pastes are!! I feel like that would be incredibly convenient against coccidia? Anyone have experience with it?

It sure can be! I could never find any, so I couldn’t use it. However, a friend of mine uses it and absolutely loves it.

Would you happen to know the dosage for future reference?

Yes, it is 1cc per 20lbs. It is a metabolite of toltrazuril, so only a single dose is needed.

I think it only comes in paste form. Any mention of Marquis is referring to the horse paste is my understanding.
