I have a FF lamancha and she had a single doe! We have been milking her but tonight when I put the first few squirts into the strip cup I noticed stringy milk, no clumps or blood. It was almost like cotton fibers in it. So I milked her out completly. Does this sound like mastitis, if so what do you recommend for treatment? Things always seem to happen on the weekends, there is 1 feed store open tomorrow luckly.

If you do a search on here, there is a test using dish soap. I would test her. If she tests positive, then treat with Today.
