I have never had a goat with mastitis and hope i never do.but what are the sighns and how can it be prevented and what causes it

Many things can contribute to mastitis. Basically it's when their mammary glands get infected or damaged so the milk becomes clumpy and bloody. Not a good feeling I'm sure. If untreated, mastitis can lead to the loss of that goat/animal's entire udder. Nasty stuff!
