Mean goats

So yesterday I brought home two doelings, two of my does very much dislike them, one will chase them when they walk up to her then hook her horns underneath and flip them over, the other smashes them against the fence, I guess my question is, when I start breeding would they do this to babies, and what you guys think I should do, I Understand them not liking them and showing them They are queen, but none of my other goats, even my most dominant, do this, they just angle there horns at them. Should I rehome these girls or is it fixable (rehome the two does that are mean) i really don’t want to get rid of them, the doe’s have just started doing this a Few months ago, when one of my does was sick, before I got babies.

If all the other goats aren't mean to the new ones, then I would separate the mean ones by themselves.

To be honest. It is not going to change and you could lise goats. I personally would rehome the mean girls.

Take the meanies out for two weeks, then reintroduce them back to the herd. One by one. When that calms down, then put the next goat in.

This will change pecking order.

The lower pecking order goats won’t try to complete.

Any reason this doe would do this? Or is it just because she can? 0509211614.mp4
Oh dear, that is out right mean.

I would get a water hose with spray nozzle or squirt bottle and start teaching her a lesson.

Poor little goat. I gasped right along with you in the video. I hope some of the advice you’ve gotten here works out for you. Such a frustrating situation to find yourself in. Good luck and keep us updated.

You may end up losing the babies. Using horns is never acceptable.
I would separate them

Maybe you could install an electric fence to divide your pasture? Then you could separate the meanies.

We have a pen in the making currently, mainly for more forage, but the meanies can go in there once it’s finished, which should be soon, as of right now, they aren’t being mean from what I’ve saw when I’ve been out there, just stalking the babies until I reprimand them with a water bottle, I’m also thinking about build a creep pen, since the babies can’t reach the hay feeder, and for a place They can run too if I’m not out there to get the meanies, the pen should be done by next week.
