My Lamancha doe has consistently produced 7.3 pounds of milk a day . . . but these past few months it's gone wayyyyyy down. (like 2 pints a day.) should I give her vinager? She has 18% protein in her feed---- milk her three times a day? I know this is probably heat/fall related, but how do I get her up before she dries up on me?

I was told to feed straight alfalfa - alfalfa pellets and BOSS on the milk stand and the protein grain.

I noticed the same thing with my Alpine - and I ended up just drying her up as I wanted to give her a break during pregnancy and didn't want to milk during winter
