Thats really good Stacey! Now make sure you get that in the freezer so you have the colostrum if you or anyone else would need it in the future! She may continue with the production if you keep on her daily or she may just make what the kids need, but if you keep on the milking everyday she'll just make even more....sometimes those girls are sneaky though and don't let down because of the kids.

Already in the freezer.

She doesn't seem to mind me milking once I start. Getting started is trickly. I milked her from the front because that was teh way I could hold her head/neck so she would stand still. I sat on this 6x6 and it was the right height.

Today was a little rodeo, and I got drug on the ground

I must have been a sight - unfortunatly only the dogs were watching

But she did settle down after that and as long as I have her head in the crook of my arm we are good.

Got JUST under 2 cups this morning again!

I am saving this milk for when I have any bottle kids. If I dont' I will just give it to the chickens my mom said.

(I maybe bottle feeding Misty and Destiny's kids, and possibly one of Flicka's if she has more then one)
