I have a doe, this will be her 6th kidding. She is a good milk producer. She is not due for another week and a half, but has started bagging up to the extreme. Her udder is not well attached and is now very full. Between being pregnant ( she usually has 3 kids) and her full bag she can barely get up. I am so tempted to start milking, but I don't want to mess up her hormones and her colostrum "schedule". Has anyone had any experience with milking before kidding?

Has her udder always been poorly attached or just this year with age?
You could try an udder bra but I definitely wouldn't begin milking her because of the colostrum issue.

I am in the same situation and I see this post is a month old. I'm wondering how it all worked out? Did you relieve the pressure? I had to do this with my girl and wondering how yours turned out.
